Ballet

Ballet is a traditional form of performance and concert dance that is usually performed to the accompaniment of classical music. Of all the styles of dance offered at JAM Dance Academy, ballet is perhaps the most challenging.  JAM Dance recommends a student taking a ballet class since ballet technique is fundamental for all performing styles and the serious student will be required to take at least two ballet classes per week.

Our primary ballet instructor and JAM Dance Academy founder Jennifer Muselin has over 30 years of dance and professional experience and remains passionate about teaching proper ballet technique, which includes Russian technique and Balanchine styles. She seeks to share that knowledge with others who are eager to learn.  In order to enhance the training of our advanced dancers, we provide master classes from other professional dancers in our training program.  JAM Dance Academy offers courses for beginner, intermediate and advanced ballet dancers.
